If you have a laptop and your wireless is not connecting don’t panic. This may be a minor issue. Most laptops have a wireless switch or button to enable or disable the wireless card. Look for this button or switch which is usually located on the side, front, or the top part of the keyboard and verify it is set to the on or enabled position.

Having trouble seeing everything on the webpage you are viewing? To fix this just press the F11 key on your keyboard to make the page go full screen. Once you are done viewing the page just press F11 again to take the page back to normal size.

Refreshing a webpage

While browsing the internet you can easily refresh the current page you are viewing. Just press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

Secure Websites

Make sure when browsing secure websites on the Internet that your browser has Https: in the address bar. This makes your connection secure and you should not enter any personal information unless its a secure site. Banking sites are an example of a secure site.

Know your Anti-Virus

Make sure when using your PC and you get virus popups that they are coming from YOUR anti-virus and not some Internet popup. These popups are misleading and could lead to a virus infection.

Call your cell service provider for full details and to get this set up. You will then get a data cable that will plug into your phone on one end and then into your computer with a USB connection on the other end. This service starts at around $25 per month and can be used in most areas that you have cell service.
