Making calls on your cell phone

On most cell phones you can press the send button to bring up a list of recent calls. Highlight a number in the list and press send again to make the call. This makes it quicker to return a call.

Google can be used just the same as a calculator to enter a math problem. Google will calculate it and give you the answer. To do this just go to google and enter the problem like 2 + 2 = and it will return the results as 2 + 2 = 4. You can even do more advanced problems like (8 x 4) + 12 = which returns (8 x 4) + 12 = 44

Disable User Account Control in Vista

Did you know you can disable all those annoying  popups you get when trying to install software or updates with Windows Vista. All you have to do is disable the User Account Control feature under the user account properties.

  1. Click Start and then open Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel, click User Accounts and Family Safety.
  3. Click User Accounts.
  4. Click Turn User Account Control on or off.
  5. Clear the tick or check mark on the box beside the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer option.
  6. Click OK.
  7. When prompted, restart the computer. Note that the changes will affect all users on the computer.
  8. To enable the UAC, simply tick or select the checkbox again.

Access all e-mail accounts from Gmail

Just about everybody these days has more than one email account.. if you use Gmail for one of your e-mail accounts… did you know you can add all your other e-mail accounts to Gmail and access them all from gmail.com?

How to unfreeze your iPod Nano
